I am passionate about California Community Colleges. They are the people’s college, accepting the top 100% of applicants.

I believe trustees are public servants who manage their institution for the overall good of the public trust. Trustees ensure that institutions are run efficiently, ethically, and true to its Mission.

I fully support the mission, values, and goals of North Orange County Community College, “To serve and enrich our diverse communities by providing a comprehensive program of educational opportunities that are accessible, relevant, and academically excellent. We are unequivocally committed to student success and lifelong learning.”

I bring life-long experience to this office. I have been a community college professor for over 30 years. My education, professional activities as well as involvement with trustee organizations makes me a well-qualified candidate to represent the public and support the advancement of North Orange County CCD.
  • Fiscally Responsible: Vigilantly protects tax dollars from waste. Community Colleges yield the community $5 for every $1 spent. Maintained balanced budget. Facilities like Cypress College STEM and Veterans’ Buildings are used to enhance student success and serve the community.
  • Enhance Student Success: Passionate about serving both the academic and vocational needs of our community with superior quality and efficiency. Degrees awarded by Fullerton and Cypress College increased 43% over my term. 1,840 strong workforce completers (annual). Cypress College one of only 15 Californian community colleges offering Baccalaureate degree
  • Ethical and Transparent Leadership:As YOUR trustee, I am your public servant. I manage their institution for the overall good of the public trust. Trustees ensure that institutions are run efficiently, ethically, and true to its Mission.

I fully support NOCCCD's mission, “To serve and enrich our diverse communities by providing a comprehensive program of educational opportunities that are accessible, relevant, and academically excellent.
