Barbara Dunsheath earned a bachelor's degree from Bradley University in 1980 and a Ph.D. from California State University, Long Beach in 2010. Dunsheath's career experience includes working as a professor.[1]

I bring life-long experience to this office. I have been a community college professor for over 30 years. My education, professional activities as well as involvement with trustee organizations makes me a well-qualified candidate to represent the public and support the advancement of North Orange County CCD.- Fiscally Responsible: Vigilantly protects tax dollars from waste. Community Colleges yield the community $5 for every $1 spent. Maintained balanced budget. Facilities like Cypress College STEM and Veterans’ Buildings are used to enhance student success and serve the community.

Degrees awarded by Fullerton and Cypress College increased 43% over my term. 1,840 strong workforce completers (annual). Cypress College one of only 15 Californian community colleges offering Baccalaureate degree
