Barbara Hanson Nellermoe was the judge of District 45 in Texas.[1] She was first elected to the court on January 1, 2003. She did not seek re-election in 2014, and retired at the end of her term.[2]

Education

Nellermoe holds a B.S. from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, an M.A. from Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota, and a J.D. from St. Mary´s University of San Antonio, Texas.[3]

Career

Prior to her election to the 45th District on January 1, 2003, Nellermoeengaged in private law practice for 10 years, served as corporate counsel for Clear Channel Communications and as staff attorney to the former Chief Justice of the Texas Fourth District Court of Appeals, Alma L. Lopez. Nellermoe also served as a law clerk for several federal district court judges.[3]
