After fifteen years as an attorney, I owned and/or managed small businesses until my retirement. I am currently very active in the Republican Party as a former Precinct Chair, an Election Judge and a Parliamentarian.
I decided to run for this position because it is a critical office in a growing precinct. I am the only attorney in this race and the best candidate for this position.- Although Justice Courts have relaxed rules of procedure, they are still Courts. A deep understanding of procedure, jurisdiction, evidence, legal research, how the Federal, State, and Local laws interact will be essential in performing my duties as Justice of the Peace.
Comal County Justice of the Peace for Precinct 3 handles twice the number of cases handled by the Justice of the Peace for Precinct 1. All of the candidates running for that office in Precinct 1 are attorneys.
Precinct 3, a major commercial and residential precinct in New Braunfels, needs a Justice of the Peace who has the knowledge and experience to handle this important office. - As a Proven Conservative, you can expect the following if you do me the honor of electing me to this Office: I will diligently follow Texas Law in all matters; I will decide each case fairly and impartially; All cases will be decided in accordance with the applicable law and the facts presented; I will always act with transparency and integrity; and I will assure that all matters are handled in a professional and timely matter.
- I am against judicial activism. I believe the role the Justice of the Peace is to decide cases in accordance with the laws in the Texas Constitution and those enacted by the Texas Legislature.
