Barbara Henley
Barbara Henley is a member of the Virginia Beach City Council, representing District 2. She assumed office on January 1, 2023. Her current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Henley ran for re-election to the Virginia Beach City Council to represent District 2. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Henley was a member of the Virginia Beach City Council from 1978 to 1990 and again from 1994 to 2002 before being elected in 2006 to her current seat representing the Princess Anne District.[1]
Biography
Henley holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in Urban Studies from Old Dominion University.[2]

The city of Virginia Beach, Virginia held elections for city council on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014.
Six council seats were up for election.[3] In the District of Princess Anne, incumbent Barbara Henley defeated Pieri E. Burton.[4][5]
