Biography
Barbara Hernandez graduated from East Aurora High School in 2010. Hernandez earned an associate degree in political science and government from Waubonsee Community College in 2012, a bachelor's degree in political science from Aurora University in 2014, and a master's degree in public administration from Aurora University in 2021. Her career experience includes working as the assistant chief of staff to former Illinois State Representative Linda Chapa LaVia, a residential counselor with the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, and a team captain with Family Focus, Inc. Hernandez served on the Kane County Board.[1]
