Barbara Nunes was a member of the Fremont Union High School District Board of Education in California. She was first elected to the board in 2002.[1][2] Nunes did not file to run for re-election in 2018.

Nunes is a retired high school principal and former business education teacher. She has been a resident of Santa Clara County, California since 1952.[3]

Three at-large seats on the Fremont Union High School District Board of Trustees were up for general election on November 4, 2014. The three incumbents, William "Bill" Wilson, Barbara Nunes and Hung Wei, ran unopposed and won re-election by default.

This election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbents William "Bill" Wilson, Barbara Nunes and Hung Wei won re-election by default.[4]

Funding

Nunes filed Form 470 with the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters, indicating she did not intend to raise or spend more than $1,000 for her 2014 campaign. Because of this, Nunes did not have to file any additional campaign finance reports.[5]
