Biography
Smith grew up in the Camp Taylor neighborhood of Louisville, Ky., and attended Thomas Jefferson Junior/Senior High School. She received a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Louisville in 1979. Her professional experience includes working as the president and CEO of the Fund for the Arts. Other experience includes serving on the boards of the Muhammad Ali Center, KyCAD, Simmons College of Kentucky, SouthArts, Hermitage Farms Charities, and FFTA Properties.[1]
