Barbara Smith was a judicial candidate for the Byron Town Court in Genesee County, New York.[1][2]

Smith ran for election to the Town Court on November 8th, but was defeated by John M. Ivison after receiving 26.7 percent of the vote. She was endorsed by the Justice Party and faced candidates Ivison and Carrie A. Capostagno in the race to replace retiring Justice James W. Lamkin.[2][3]
