Barbara T. Takase
Barbara T. Takase is a former judge of the Hawai`i Third Circuit District Court of Hawaii. She was appointed on May 26, 2004, and retired on May 25, 2016.[1][2]
Education
Takase earned a B.A. from the University of Hawaii, Hilo, and a J.D. from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law.[2]
Career
From 1999 until her appointment, Takase worked as a Per Diem Judge and had a private practice. Prior to that she worked as a Hawaii Department of Education hearings officer for "Felix" cases,[3] and as a deputy Prosecuting Attorney and a Victim-Witness Counselor for the County of Hawaii's Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.[2]
