Barbara Vondell (Democratic Party) ran for election to the North Dakota State Senate to represent District 15. Vondell lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Vondell was a 2014 Democratic-NPL candidate for District 1 of the North Dakota State Senate. Vondell withdrew from the race before the September 2, 2014, deadline to remove her name from the Nov. 4 ballot.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 7, 2014. Barbara Vondell was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Brad Bekkedahl was unopposed in the Republican primary. Vondell withdrew from the race before the general election.
