Two seats on the Mustang Public Schools school board were up for general election on February 14, 2017. There was a special election for the Office 4 seat. Incumbent Chad Schroeder defeated Barbara Young for a two-year term. No one filed to run for the Office 2 seat, so the board appointed someone to the vacant seat after the election.[1]
