I am already a proven leader in AC Transit District Ward 4: I was the catalyst for multimillion-dollar corridor improvement projects recently completed here. We now have new street pavement, new traffic signals, bike lanes (we never had those before), new improved bus shelters, an adequate amount of street lights, new wider ADA-approved sidewalks, and much more. The projects have made our corridors significantly safer and more accessible to bus riders, pedestrians, bike riders, and our entire community.
If elected to office, I would be the first woman of color to fill the seat.
- I am a proven leader for our community of AC Transit ward 4.
- I will create more reliability, accessibility, and equity for everyone. I will support environmental sustainability and our transit workers.
- I have the experience, vision, and resolve to move AC Transit Forward.
I will advocate for legislation or a ballot measure that will create a long-term funding source for all of the strategies mentioned.
