Barney Fisher
Barney Fisher (b. December 17, 1947) is a former Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 125 from 2005 to 2013.
Fisher is a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Command and Staff College, and earned his B.S. in education from the University of Missouri Columbia. He has served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps and worked as a teacher in the Wellsville Public School System.
Fisher is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity, Marine Corps Association, National Rifle Association, Nevada Chamber of Commerce, Rinehart Christian Church, and the Vietnam Veterans Association.

Issues
No New Taxes Pledge
A minority of Missouri lawmakers signed the 2011 edition of the "No New Taxes Pledge." The Taxpayer Protection Pledge is offered by the nonprofit lobbying organization Americans for Tax Reform with the goal of opposing all tax increases as a matter of principle. Just one out of 34 state Senate members signed the 2011 pledge. Out of 163 state House members, only 38 lawmakers signed.
Fisher signed the pledge.[1]
