Barry Bennett is a judge on the Polk County Court in Florida. He was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist in 2010. He was elected in 2012 for a term that expired on January 8, 2019.[1][2][3][4]
Education
Bennett earned his B.A. from Florida State University in 1970 and his J.D. from the University of Florida Law School in 1974.[5][1]
Career
Bennett was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1975.[5] He currently serves on the Polk County Court. Before serving on the County Court he worked with the Winter Haven law firm, Stanley, Wines, Bennett, Murphy and Helms.[1]
2012 election
Bennett was unopposed and automatically elected following the Nov. 6, 2012 general election.[4][6]
