Barry Richard Donadio was a 2014 candidate for the Orphans Court of Queen Anne’s County in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. He was also elected to the Republican Central Committee of Queen Anne's County.[1] On January 11, 2017, he was appointed the Sergeant At Arms of the Maryland Republican Party by Chairman Dirk Haire.[2]

Donadio ran for election to the Orphans Court of Queen Anne’s County.
Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 8.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Kim Calvert, Steve Hoofnagle, Penelope A. Keating, Richard "Dick" Smith, Eric Wargotz, and incumbent Judges Joseph V. DiPietro and Kimberly Jean Cascia. Primary candidates competed for 3 seats.  [3][4]

Education

Donadio studied criminal justice at the American Military University.[5]

Career

Donadio served in the U.S. Secret Service from 2002 to 2010. He has been in the military since 1987 and has served in the New York Army National Guard, the Army Reserve and the New York Air National Guard. He was also an appointed notary public in New York.[5]
