Barry Fleming (Georgia)
Barry Fleming (Republican Party) was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 125. He assumed office on January 9, 2023. He left office on January 10, 2024.
Fleming (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives to represent District 125. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
On December 27, 2023, Governor of Georgia Brian Kemp (R) announced he was appointing Fleming as a Superior Court judge in Columbia County, Georgia. Fleming was sworn in on January 10, 2024.[1]
Biography
Barry Fleming lives in Harlem, Georgia.[2] Fleming earned undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia in 1988 and 1994, respectively. His career experience includes working as the founding partner with Fleming Nelson, LLP and a partner with Fulcher Hagler, LLP. Fleming has served as the chair of the Columbia County Board of Commissioners and has been affiliated with the AWANA programs at Harlem Baptist Church.[2][3]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Barry Abbott Fleming was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[8][9][10]
