The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 30, 2014. Barry McGrew was unopposed in the Republican primary. Incumbent Ralph W. Norman was unopposed in the Republican primary. McGrew was defeated by Norman in the general election.[2][3][1]
