Barry Willett was a circuit court judge for the 30th Judicial Circuit, which presides over Jefferson County in Kentucky.[1] He began serving in 2000 and served as chief judge of the court from January 2010 to December 31, 2011.[2] Willett retired on June 30, 2021.[3]

Willett ran for re-election to the 30th Judicial Circuit.
General: He defeated Stuart Pearlman in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 62.1 percent of the vote. [4] 

Education

Willett received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and his J.D. from the University of Louisville School of Law.[5]

Career

Before he became a judge, Willett practiced law in Louisville, Kentucky, with a focus in complex tort and commercial litigation.[2]
