A native of Chattooga County, I'm running to represent all the citizens of the 53rd District with respect and collaboration in the Georgia State Senate. We need a lawmaker who knows how to work with colleagues in the legislature, regardless of the party affiliation. Only with mutual respect and collaboration between parties can we achieve results. The time for partisan politics is over. We must unite to achieve our potential as citizens of Georgia and Americans.
  • I am committed to supporting our police officers and first responders. As a former peace office, I understand the challenges they face and the benefits they deserve. They have our backs every day, and I intend to have theirs.
  • I will champion the cause of our Georgia public school teachers. These dedicated professionals guide our children into adulthood, shaping their futures. Teachers deserve our unwavering support and respect.
  • I am a strong supporter of labor and the hardworking people of Georgia. I've been a union member for 35 years.
I am dedicated to upholding the Second Amendment and the rights of responsible, legal gun owners.
Respect and Service. The ability to work together and across all political aisles. We cannot serve our citizens unless we are willing to collaborate and find a way to work with one another.
I know how to work with all types of people from all walks of life. This is key to representing them.
The ability to listen to the people of my district. Their needs and their concerns will be at the forefront of my decision-making in the Senate.
