FORMER CHULA VISTA CITY ATTORNEY.

I served as the Chula Vista City Attorney after being unanimously appointed by the Chula Vista City Council. I have 20 years of experience in the Chula Vista City Attorney's office, making City Hall more effective, holding City leaders accountable, supporting working families, and advancing public safety. Real experience in the office matters!

  • Experience matters. I am the only candidate to have actually been the ChulamVista City Attorney before.
  • I have bipartisan support from elected officials, retired judges, city attorneys, civic leaders, and law enforcement officials.
  • After completing a postgraduate program of instruction at Harvard Law School, I became an adjunct professor teaching law at the University of San Diego.
I am a strong advocate for transparency and open government. Allowing transparency and full access by the public helps to assure the interests of the people (not just political leaders) are being represented.
