Bartlett appointed to Circuit Court
May 30, 2010
Wyoming: Wendy Bartlett will be the newest addition to the judiciary in Campbell County. Bartlett was appointed by Governor Freudenthal to the 6th District Circuit Court. She will replace Judge William S. Edwards, who is retiring this summer.
Bartlett has spent her career serving the public sector through law. An attorney with Campbell County for the last seven years, previously she worked as a city prosecutor. She has also been the legal adviser to the Campbell County Sheriff's Office and Fire Department, and worked for the Child Support Authority.
Bartlett was one of three nominees chosen by the Judicial Nominating Commission in Wyoming. From there, it was the governor's responsibility to chose Edwards' successor.[1]
