An effort to recall Trustee Susan Allen and Treasurer Susan Boss in Bear Lake Township, Michigan from their positions was launched in 2014. A recall election took place on November 4, 2014.[1] Boss was defeated while Allen was retained.[2]

Recall proponent arguments

Allen and Boss were targeted for recall because they allegedly did not represent the interests of township voters during votes about the proposed closing of road ends around Bear Lake.[1]
