Beau Baird (Republican Party) is a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 44. He assumed office on November 7, 2018. His current term ends on November 4, 2026.

Biography
Beau Baird graduated from Greencastle High School before attending the Krannert School of Management for business and management training, and Purdue University. His work experience includes managing the budget for Home Care Plus, and being owner and operator of Baird Ranch. In addition to his work experience, he has served on the International Board of Directors for the American Quarter Horse Association, on the board of directors for the Indiana Quarter Horse Association, and on the Quarter Horse Racing of Indiana. He has also been a member of the Indiana Agricultural Leadership Program and the Indiana West Central Economic Development.[1]

Noteworthy events
Electoral vote certification on January 6-7, 2021
Congress convened a joint session on January 6-7, 2021, to count electoral votes by state and confirm the results of the 2020 presidential election. Baird voted against certifying the electoral votes from Arizona and Pennsylvania. The House rejected both objections by a vote of 121-303 for Arizona and 138-282 for Pennsylvania.
