Beau Liegeois
Beau Liegeois is a judge for the Brown County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He was appointed to the court on September 20, 2019, by Gov. Tony Evers (D) to replace William Atkinson.[1]
Liegeois ran as a Democratic candidate for election to the U.S. House to represent Wisconsin's 8th Congressional District. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Education
Liegeois received a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a J.D. degree from the Valparaiso University School of Law.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Liegeois worked as an assistant district attorney in Brown County from 2008 to 2019. His professional experience also includes serving in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as a judge advocate captain. He has served as both a civilian and a military prosecutor.[1][2]
