Two Township Emergency Services Levy Increase measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the townships of Beaver and Troy which are in Newaygo County.
The Beaver township measure sought to increase the levy for emergency services to $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed property, which is in place to help pay for fire and emergency services offered in the township for a further five years.
