Becki was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She got her B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from North Park University in 2003. She worked for nearly 20 years in the non-profit sector at Caris Pregnancy Clinics and then at LYDIA Home/Safe Families, both in Chicago. She and her family moved to Apex in 2020. Her three teenage children attend Highschool in the Wake County Public School system. She had filed to run for the NC House in 2021 for the 22 election, but her candidacy was withdrawn due to the lawsuit regarding redistricting. She remained involved in the Wake GOP, volunteering for candidates and attending club meetings. She was elected to Wake GOP leadership in 2023 as a member at large.
  • Becki has a lifelong dedication to serving her community. She has worked in the school system as a teacher's aide. She volunteered at her children's school, and within her church in many different capacities, she has given her time at a wilderness camp and volunteered with the homeless. She is running for the NC House to continue to serve her community. She will lead with common sense solutions to attack problems and allow her district to be a place to grow and thrive.
  • Becki is running to protect our constitutional rights. She will defend the 2nd amendment and will protect our religious and medical freedom.
  • Becki will support conservative values by promoting fiscal responsibility and governmental accountability. She will stimulate economic growth by supporting tax reform to encourage innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

I was a cashier at a grocery store in Wisconsin. I started the summer I was 14. I worked there for a few summers but found it extremely stressful due to the Chicago tourists. I was moved to the bakery and found the work much more enjoyable.

I believe that it is beneficial but it is not required. I think that not having previous experience allows for someone to truly serve the people he/she represents.
