I'm running for Florida HD27 as an America First Republican. I'm a retired Police Lieutenant and owned and operated successful businesses.

I'm currently a leader in state and nationwide grassroots initiatives that advocate for common sense legislative reforms, a transparent and fiscally responsible government, and secure elections.

My Christian values are central to my campaign, and my faith drives my passion for public service. My husband (a retired Police Captain) and I have been married since 1981 and are both long-time Marion County residents. We have a close-knit multigenerational family.

I graduated from Vanguard High School, obtained my police certification from CFCC, and my degree from Columbia College.

  • Child Abuse and Human Trafficking: During my law enforcement career, I was a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and received the Meritorious Service Award for one of my investigations that led to the arrest and conviction of the “world’s number one distributor" of child pornography. I remain committed to combatting child abuse and human trafficking by ensuring that our law enforcement agencies and victim assistance orgs are adequately funded, and that offenders receive the full penalty of the law.
  • Economic Issues: My experience in both police and business administration affords me the ability to bring oversight and accountability to legislative matters that directly affect everyday Floridians, with the skills necessary to tackle our serious economic challenges. The rising cost of living, Florida's insurance crisis, affordable housing, and healthcare quality and costs are just a few of the issues that must be addressed.
  • Transparent and Accountable Government: My goal is to ensure that our Constitution is upheld and defended, and that The People have a voice through true representation. Our government must be accountable and fiscally responsible. We also have to restore confidence in our elections by enforcing the law and requiring transparency in election processes and related public records.
First Responders: Establish policies that ensure our Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Agencies are adequately funded for staffing, training, and equipment. Disability, Worker's Compensation, and Retirement benefits should be specific to First Responders. Programs should also be developed and/or enhanced that provide mental health and other support services that address the unique challenges our First Responders face.

Education: Eatablish parameters for educational goals while prohibiting "indoctrination," to ensure that our children are provided with the knowledge and skills needed for successful futures. Provide educators with the tools necessary to accomplish their goals, to include classroom materials typically provided by teachers. Work within communities to develop trade schools and apprentice programs as alternatives to college.

Elections: Establish a unified application of state and federal law for all county election offices. Florida law requires that our Secretary of State must ensure that election systems and processes are properly administered, but fails to provide the tools necessary to meet this requirement. This must be remedied. Citizen Election Oversight Committees should be instituted in every county and administered by the Department of State, Division of Elections.

Constitution: Prohibit legislation that allows for any infringement on Constitutional Rights, such as the right to keep and bear arms.
None officially yet, but I'm in the process of obtaining endorsements from several organizations.
