I grew up on a dairy farm in northern Michigan. When I was about 10, my dad took my oldest brother and sister and I to the bank and co-signed a loan for us to buy 10 sheep. The three of us kids were responsible for caring for the sheep and the money we made from them went towards our loan.

I learned a lot as a farm kid. I learned how to work hard even when I wanted to give up. I learned to pay attention to detail because not doing so could be the difference between life and death or the cattle escaping. I learned to place the needs of others first because animals can't wait to be fed. The money I saved up over the years from the sheep, I used to fund a class trip to Spain, where I learned a great deal about other cultures. In fact I still maintain contact with some of the friends I made there to this day. I have 4 children ranging in ages 3 - 27. Each one has been a true blessing in every way and I wouldn't change a thing about them. I hold an AA and a BAECE. I spent over 20 years in the lighting industry and fell in love with it. My wheelhouse contained photometry, product safety and compliance, and management. Today, I stay home with my children and run our family farm. My husband an I started a county affiliate to the US Taxpayers Party in January of 2022 and have been actively involved ever since.

We believe that of we are not part of the solution then we are part of the problem.
  • I support family farms and the every day farmers. We are too regulated and not free to live off the land as we once did. This must change.
  • I support second amendment rights. Our constitution protects these rights and clearly states they shall not be infringed.
  • I support traditional family values and the nuclear family. Parents should be welcomed to participate in their children's education. Indoctrination of alternate lifestyles and CRT is unacceptable on all levels.
I am personally passionate about alleviating the burden of the family farmers to be licensed and certified into poverty and out of business.

I have a plan that will not only benefit the farmers but grow local markets as well.
I am also very passionate about protecting our kids from indoctrination. Parents should be in charge of what information their children receive and schools should work together with the parents. Traditional family values should be cultivated and be allowed to flourish.
Every election cycle our second amendment rights are attacked. It's time for real solutions without taking our rights away from us.
I am pro-life. While I understand there are sometimes extenuating circumstances in which terminating pregnancy would be the best solution, I do not believe abortion should ever be used as a means of birth control. Babies have a right to life just as you or I and life begins at conception.

I believe in a clean and responsible environment. We have been gifted with a beautiful state in which we live and it is our responsibility to take proper care of it. Everything we do has an impact down the road and so we should take care where we place refuse, how we assess wetlands, and whether or not construction in one are will cause strife to those around them as a result, just to name a few examples.
Honestly, I look up to my dad. My dad has always been the person I call for advice and input. He's one of the smartest people I know.
I am fair, honest, and open minded. I'm a good listener and I care about how issues affect everyone.
I am a patriot and I believe the Constitution is the law of the land and should be adhered to.
Babysitting. I have offered to babysit on many occasions over the years.
The Dark Elf Teilogy is my favorite series of books by RA Salvatore.

I like this book for many reasons. I have always been a fan of fantasy fiction and this book fills that void easily.
I like the main character's style of fighting. As a former Kuk Sool Hapkido student, I appreciate the grace and flow of his movements.

I also appreciate the emotional and mental journey the main character went through while leaving an evil society, seeking acceptance in a society that discriminated against his kind, and the introspection he skated while trying to figure out who he was as an individual.
Being of Irish descent, I have a weak spot for Irish folklore. Unfortunately, many stories end in tragedy. That said, maybe Maeve. She was a strong leader and was respected; albeit a wee bit too needy in the desire dept.
