Becky Plattner
Becky Plattner was a 2012 Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Missouri in the 2012 elections. She lost to Susan Montee in the August 7th primary election.[1] Plattner has previously as the Director of the Missouri Department of Conservation, Presiding Commissioner of Saline County, City Clerk of Grand Pass, and on the Grand Pass City Council.
Biography
Plattner was born and raised in Saline County. She graduated from Santa Fe R-10 High School in 1976 and attended Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg and Missouri Valley College-Marshall, majoring in accounting.
In 1981, she was appointed to City Clerk of Grand Pass and was later elected to the Grand Pass City Council, where she served for 15 years. In 2002, Plattner was elected Saline County Presiding Commissioner and won re-election in 2006.

After the sudden death of her husband, Russell, Plattner sold their portion of the family farming business to Russell's brother. She lives with her two daughters in Grand Pass.
