A Bedford Heights Director of Water Reclamation Amendment measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Cuyahoga County, which is in Ohio where it was approved.

This measure amended the Bedford Heights City Charter to removing a provision about the Director of Water Reclamation.[1]

Language on the ballot:

“ Shall Article VIII, Section 8.05, of the Charter of the City of Bedford Heights be amended to eliminate the provision that if the Director of Water Reclamation is removed other than for cause he/she shall be entitled to return to the position in the Division of Water Reclamation held prior to his/her appointment as Director?[1][2] ”
