Belleair Bluffs City Charter Amendments, 5 (March 2010)
There were five Belleair Bluffs City Charter Amendment measure on the March 9 ballot in Pinellas County for voters in the city of Belleair Bluffs.
Four of these proposed measures were approved
The first charter amendment proposes to require that the mayor and city commissioners have to live within city limits.
The second charter amendment proposes to make it so that an office is forfeited if the mayor or council member moves outside of the city.
The third charter amendment proposes to amend the date and time of the canvassing board that meets after an election to determine preliminary results.
The fourth charter amendment proposes to prohibit the mayor or any city commissioner from holding another job from the city.
The fifth charter amendment proposes to delete the requirement of candidate petitions provided by the city clerk.[1]
