Measure U: "To maintain academic excellence by continuing emphasis on math, science, reading, and writing; keeping schools from losing qualified teachers; and enhancing well-rounded curriculum, including music and art, shall Belmont-Redwood Shores Elementary School District collect an annual education parcel tax of $78 for seven years, with independent community oversight of all expenditures, no funds for administrator salaries, an exemption for senior citizens 65 and over, and all funds staying in local schools to protect high-quality education?"[1] |
