Campaign website

Armenta's campaign website stated the following:

Issues

Alamo

Did you know that the Texas General Land Office runs the Alamo?

Democrats want to teach our children that the Texas Revolution and the Battle of the Alamo was about protecting the slave trade. This is a lie. Ben will fight to ensure the true history of the Alamo is preserved for future Texans.

Critical Race Theory

Did you know that the Texas General Land Office plays a key role in funding public education?

Ben will use his position to ensure Critical Race Theory will be banned from our schools. CRT is the Democrats’ racist attempt to divide Americans based solely on the color of our skin. Ben believes this indoctrination must end.

Veterans

Did you know that COVID has killed twice the number of veterans in our state homes compared to other retirement facilities? The Texas General Land Office runs 10 veterans retirement homes across the state. Ben will use his health care industry experience to ensure that our veterans receive the honor and care they deserve.

Disasters

Did you know that Texas is one of the most disaster-prone areas in the world?

On average our coast is hit by a hurricane every 5 to 8 years. The Texas General Land Office plays a critical role in helping Texans get back on their feet following federally declared disasters. Ben’s business expertise uniquely qualifies him to manage this complicated responsibility.[3]
