Ben Backus
Ben Backus was a Libertarian candidate for Nebraska Secretary of State in the 2014 elections.[1] Ben Backus lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
Biography
Backus served in the United States Army National Guard as a combat medic from 1998 until 2008 when he was honorably discharged.[2] At the time of his candidacy, Backus was working as a broadband services manager at Action Communications.[2]
As of 2014, Backus was active in the Libertarian party serving as the chairman of the Western Nebraska Libertarian Party.[2]
