- I am running to serve because affordability and opportunity in rural Minnesota must be real again. Young people should not feel forced to leave to build a life, and coming home should not be a dream but a promise worth holding onto. That starts with creating good-paying jobs, supporting small businesses and agriculture, and allowing responsible development to move forward. We need a state government that clears the way for growth instead of standing in the way. When families can afford to stay, work, and raise the next generation here, our communities will thrive.
- Strong communities begin with strong classrooms. We must restore rigor to education, teach real financial literacy, and reinforce the value of work ethic and responsibility. Our schools should challenge students to think critically, solve problems, and graduate prepared for the real world, whether that path leads to college, a trade, or entrepreneurship. Education should open doors, not lower expectations. By strengthening workforce training and aligning education with opportunity, we can ensure Minnesota’s economy grows from the inside out and gives young people a clear path to success close to home.
- Minnesota’s future depends on meeting growing demands with smart, responsible planning. We need reliable, affordable energy, including unleashing nuclear power safely and effectively, to support families, industry, and innovation. We must invest in infrastructure that strengthens transportation and commerce without bankrupting the state or burdening taxpayers. And we must protect Minnesota’s leadership in health care by working with both public and private partners to ensure we have the medical professionals needed to serve rural communities. Good government plans ahead, spends wisely, and delivers results people can see.
