Ben Carpenter
Ben Carpenter (Republican Party) was a member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing District 8. He assumed office on January 17, 2023. He left office on January 21, 2025.
Carpenter (Republican Party) ran for election to the Alaska State Senate to represent District D. He lost in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Ben Carpenter was born in Omak, Washington, and lives in Nikiski, Alaska. Carpenter graduated from Nikiski High School in 1993. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1997 to 2003 and the U.S. Army from 2003 to 2018, and reached the rank of staff sergeant and major, respectively. Carpenter earned a bachelor's degree from Weber State University in 2004. His career experience includes working as the president of the Alaska Peony Market Cooperative and Cook Inlet Gardens, Inc.[1][2]
