Benjamin Bloom is a judge on the Jackson County Circuit Court in Oregon. He was appointed by Governor Ted Kulongoski in December of 2010 to replace retired Judge Mark Schiveley. He was sworn in on January 7, 2011.[1][2]

Education

Bloom received his undergraduate degree from Hamilton College and his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School.[2]

Career

From 2005 to 2010, Bloom served as a judge pro tem, in addition to being a partner at a Medford law firm.[2]

2012 election

Bloom was re-elected to the Jackson County Circuit Court. He defeated Deputy District Attorney David Orr in the general election.[3][4]
