I am a husband and father. A regular guy, who works for a living and loves the United States of America.

I am tired of the lies of the media and the sweep it under the rug, politics as usual. I was not ok with the 2020 election and the events surrounding it. I figure, I could complain, or I can do something about it.

Since I see this as a job interview, I graduated from Oregon State University. I worked in the food industry for 14 years with roles of progressive responsibility. (Packaging Supervisor, Quality Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Production Superintendent, Senior Quality Specialist, Quality/Sanitation Manager) For the last 2 plus years I have worked for an amazing company here in Utah as a Product Operations Analyst.
I am passionate about our basic freedoms. The government that governs least, governs best. (somebody said that)

See my website- BenDavisisNOTaPolitician.com
The only person I would try to emulate perfectly is Jesus Christ. Everyone else has flaws, so just be yourself. There is something you can learn from every person you meet.
Freedom to Chains by Paul Harvey. I have a link to a YouTube video of it on my website.
Election Integrity, if nothing else. Protecting the sacred right to free and fair elections. I believe in the secret ballot so that people can be free of pressure or intimidation.
I was a paper carrier at age 10. I delivered papers for 5 years.
Preserving freedom. The United States of America needs to be the bright shining beacon that lifts others up by example of what can be.

Freedom of Speech, not freedom to never be offended.

Don't give in to globalism and trying to erase borders. Inviting other countries to rise to our standards rather than lowering ours.
I am strongly in favor or term limits. I don't think a career as a politician should be a thing. I think that if people served and then got out, we would see the will of the people implemented better. When the goal of a person in office is merely to stay in office it creates a conflict of interest. It creates isolation from the people that they have been asked to represent.
I would look at the qualifications of the appointee and their displayed ability to act with integrity and uphold the constitution.
I'm thinking about being indecisive.
Do they follow the law or try to legislate from the bench? Do they give every case the same treatment?
The more I can get to know the other senators regardless of party affiliation, the more I can unite and accomplish.

I want to win with the best ideas. If no one hears each other, how can the best ideas win.
