Campaign themes
2014
Gross listed the following issues on his Facebook page:[1]
- Legislature salaries
- Excerpt: " Make our legislature part-time, like most other normal states. Reduce the salary from $80,000 to $15,000 and eliminate state pensions."
- Privatization
- Excerpt: " I say privatize non-essential government functions, like the LCB, and address the pension time bomb."
- Limited federal government
- Excerpt: "Under the Constitution designed by James Madison, state legislatures were expected to interpose between the unconstitutional federal acts and state citizens. The Jeffersonian view is again sweeping the country, with states defying DC on Obamacare, Common Core, the Federal Reserve, NSA spying, new gun laws and other transgressions. Harrisburg needs to grow a pair and do the same thing."
