Benjamin Joseph Horton
Benjamin Joseph Horton was a candidate seeking election to the Calexico Unified School District Board of Trustees in California. He ran against one incumbent and three fellow challengers for three at-large seats on November 4, 2014.[1] Benjamin Joseph Horton lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
Horton also ran unsuccessfully for a seat on the Calexico Unified Board of Trustees in 2012.
Biography
Horton works as a real estate salesperson.[1] He previously worked as the director for economic development in Calexico.[2]

Three at-large seats on the Calexico Unified School District Board of Trustees were up for general election on November 4, 2014. The race featured only one incumbent, Erik Ortega, and four challengers, Benjamin Joseph Horton, Walter Cress, Lorenzo Calderon and German Duran.
Ortega won his bid for re-election, and newcomers Calderon and Cress won election to the board.
