I have lived in Marshall County for approximately 4 or 5 years. I have also lived in Elkhart and St. Joseph counties and bring experience from those countie's issues to the table. I have a background working in public safety as a corrections officer and private security officer. I have worked in agriculture during my youth while living in the plains of Colorado which will be valuable to Marshall County. I have an extensive background in customer service which honed my skills to listen to the needs of the people. I currently work as a professional truck driver.
  • I support the right of property owners to develope their land as they see fit within the current ordinances.
  • I will make public safety to be a priority and push for it to be well funded to protect the people of the county and their property.
  • I will make sure that, regardless of politically affiliation, any concerns brought to my attention by the people will be heard, validated and considered.
Public safety, property rights, economic growth, infrastructure, access to healthcare
My inner nerd is about to show but to be completely honest I look up to the fictional character of Captain Jean-luc Picard. I admire his commitment to diplomacy and seeking outside the box resolutions. All the while he is willing to make the hard choices to accomplish what needs to be done.
I believe a core responsibility of an elected official is to remember that they work for the people. This means that the people's concerns should always be heard with validation and true consideration.
I lived in Colorado during the Columbine shooting. I was in 6th grade at the time
I believe the government should be completely transparent in regards to finances with the exception of what non-elected individual employees are payed.
