  • We need to take back control from the Democrats
  • We need to secure our borders so we can have control of who's coming in the country
  • We need to go back to the Gold Standard to avoid inflation and a major financial crisis.
Border Security - Back in the 1980s, Kenya started hosting refugees mainly from Somalia because Somalia is a failed state. The country opened its doors for refugees as a gesture of good faith. Over time, this has created a major terrorist problem in Kenya. There have been 4 terrorist attacks. This was done by the people that Kenya helped. The Al-Shabaab as they call themselves came into the country as refugees themselves. The Kenyan government did a sloppy job by assuming they are refugees. The vetting process was and still is wanting.

This is the problem we might be facing in the near future if we don't secure our borders and put in place a vetting process for the people coming into the country.
I do not have a specific person I look up to. This is usually because people aren't perfect. If the person you look up to gets in a scandal today, that means you have no one to look up to. Instead, I look at all the successful people and admire specific traits from them and try to apply that in my life.
An elected official should have integrity, have the ability to communicate, be people-focused, create a positive culture, and lead by example.
I am a great listener, result-oriented, hardworking, and I have the ability to adapt quickly to newer environments.
introduce bills and resolutions; offer amendments and serve on committees
I would like to establish a safer place for future generations. The direction we are headed politically is quite the opposite of that. America used to be the place where hope was alive. The left is on a mission to kill that through globalization; we can't have that. We have to fight to avert what the left is doing through identity politics.
My first job was as a security guard. I did the job for 3+ years.
Rich Dad Poor Dad - The book is really about mentality. It portrays how our attitude can have a direct effect on our lives.
Work-life balance. Sometimes I work too much. I have to constantly remind myself to make time for family.
The US House is more responsive to the constituents’ concerns than Senate.
The greatest challenge is uniting people. Also, getting the budget under control.
Maybe 3 would be better to give the Representatives enough time to respond to their constituents’ concerns.
Term limits are absolutely necessary. This allows for a fresh set of innovative leaders to get the opportunities to lead.
Not Really. Everyone is unique. My uniqueness is what will make me stand out.
I have heard of numerous stories but I would like to highlight the story of a single father that really did everything right but for some reason, he never got to see his kids because the courts would be very dismissive of him and very believing of the mother. It was very touching because I could tell the father was very genuine. I was able to find him an attorney to represent him and now he's seeing his kids.
The invention of the shovel was groundbreaking,
Compromise is very necessary. I will however say that there are deal breakers in negotiations. Values are non-negotiable.
Because I am for the people, I believe before we can start raising more revenue, we should account for the revenue that's already at hand and make sure that it has been spent wisely.

Campaign website

Gitau's campaign website stated the following:

Right to Life

Taxpayers Shouldn't Pick Up The Bill

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments

Economy

Supporting Hardworking Americans

Opposed to redistribution of income. The capitalist system rewards hard-working people. If wealth distribution was to occur, then there's no incentive to be a hard worker. Since the introduction of the fiat system, we have observed inflation get out of hand and diminish the middle class.

I support going back to the gold standard so we can tie the US Dollar to Gold/Silver/Cryptocurrency. This will prevent the printing of money and bring about responsible spending by the government. Inflation is a tax on your savings.

Healthcare

Support American's Right to Choose

Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options

Immigration

Do it the Right Way

Having a wall at the border is like having a fence around your house. There is nothing wrong with that. To drive a car, one has to be issued a driver's license. This is done through a process where someone studies and if they pass the test, they get the license. When someone is getting married, they go on dates to make sure they are a "match"/ compatible. There should be a similar process when it comes to immigration.

There should be an assimilation test that can determine whether the immigrant is compatible with the United States values. If the criteria are met, then that can be a good start.

Elections and Voting

Voting is An American Right

People should not be able to vote without photo identification. The current voting laws do have loopholes. I think if we can introduce biometric voting, it would be better because we can authenticate the voter.

Energy and Environment

Not at the Cost of Jobs

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources. Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

2nd Amendment

More Restrictions Doesn't Mean More Protection

I would like to illustrate that California, which is very restrictive when it comes to guns is the leading state with the highest number of mass shootings. Criminals do not care whether there are laws in place.

What we can do to protect people is to make sure they're armed and able to respond appropriately to protect themselves. A good example is Keith Thomas Kinnunen who was stopped from shooting by an armed church member. If we disarm people, then incidents like those can result in hundreds of casualties.

Family

Protect the Right of Parents and Children

Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA) was created to assist parents struggling with raising a kid if the other parent is not cooperating. It is now being exploited by malicious people. It needs to be modified to make sure every parent is covered.

Vaccine and Mandates

Support American's Right to Choose

Coercion is equivalent to bullying. The government should have no say in personal matters like health. We the people should have a right to choose to get vaccinated or not. No shutdowns![2]
