Bensonetta Tipton Lane was a judge of the Fulton Circuit of Georgia.[1] Her last term expired in 2016.

Education

Lane received her Bachelor of Arts from New York University, her Masters in Community-Based Education from the University of Massachusetts, and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.[2]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Lane served as a visiting judge with the Georgia Supreme Court; she also served as a judge with the City Court of Atlanta.[2]

Lane ran unopposed for re-election to the Fulton Superior Court.[3] She was re-elected after receiving 99.6 percent of the vote in the July 31 election.[4]
