Berta Phillips was a candidate for District 3 representative on the Northshore Board of Directors in Washington. Phillips advanced from the primary election on August 4, 2015, but was defeated in the general election on November 3, 2015.[1]
Elections
2015
Two of the five seats on the Northshore Board of Directors were up for election in 2015. District 2 incumbent Janet Quinn and District 3 incumbent Dawn McCravey's seats were up for election, but neither incumbent filed to run in this election.[1]
David Cogan, Isaac Parsons and Berta Phillips vied for the open District 3 position. Because more than two candidates filed for the District 3 race, a primary election was held for that seat on August 4, 2015. Cogen and Phillips advanced to the general election, which Cogan won.[1]
John Harley Hammond and Ken Smith also appeared on the general election ballot for the District 2 race.[1] Smith won that race.
