Dale Henry ran as a Democrat, Vivekananda Wall and Thomas Nance III ran as Libertarians, and Chris Kennedy ran as a Green Party candidate. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.
Incumbent Buddy Garcia (R) was appointed to serve in the seat until the general election and did not run in the election himself.[1]
