Beth Beller was a judge on the New York City Civil Court in New York. She was appointed to the court by Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) in January 2017 and assigned to the criminal court.[1]
Beller was assigned to the New York Supreme Court 12th Judicial District in 2021.[2]
Biography
Beller graduated from New York University and earned her J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.[1]
Prior to her appointment in 2017, Beller served as a principal court attorney in the Criminal Division of the Bronx County Supreme Court. Her professional experience also includes work as a prosecutor in the Sex Crimes Unit and Child Abuse Bureau of the New York County district attorney's office.[1] In 2022, Beller was designated as Acting Supreme Court Justice for the first department.[3]
