I'm a Flathead Valley Native, full time working mom, with a 20 year career in healthcare. I'm running with the hopes of restoring balance to the Montana house. I'm planning to use integrity to make the right decisions for Montana. I'm hoping to fill more house seats with Women to increase diversity in representation.
  • Affordability: Montanans need to be able to afford to live, work, and play in Montana. I will work to decrease property taxes, and increase affordable housing options.
  • Women's Rights: Women should have the right to choose what happens with their bodies. Politicians should not be telling doctors and women what they can or cannot do.
  • Education: Montana teachers should be financially supported and be able to teach in safe environments. Montana children should have access to quality teachers and non-censored materials.
Mental Health: I'm most passionate about advocating for people with mental illness and people with physical disabilities. I will be able to use my 20 years of experience working on in-patient psychiatric units, and inpatient physical rehabilitation units working with adolescents and adults suffering with a myriad of diagnosis'. My career as a recreational therapist will allow me to advocate for clients whom cannot participate in our political system. I can share my first hand experience with our mental health system and work to make state wide improvements.
I look up to Oprah Winfrey. I admire her ability to overcome her personal challenges in life, and take on such a successful role as a woman in leadership.
I'm smart, personable, and excellent at communication. I can rely on my leadership strengths and my confidence. Working for years on multi-disciplinary health care teams will help me work across party lines.
That I stood up for my Montana.
I was studying abroad in Spain in college in 2001. My friend was visiting me from Washington state when we watched the twin towers collapse live on international news feed from a different country.
My first job was a lifeguard. I enjoyed lifeguarding and teaching swimming lessons through college.
Correcting the harm done by the supermajority of extreme conservatives.
