Bethany Spalding Harbison is a judge of the Alaska Court of Appeals. She assumed office in 2019. Her current term ends on January 28, 2031.

Harbison ran for re-election for judge of the Alaska Court of Appeals. She won in the retention election on November 8, 2022.

Spalding Harbison was appointed to the court in November 2018 to replace Judge David Mannheimer on the Alaska Court of Appeals. Her appointment was effective in February 2019.[1]

Harbison was a superior court judge for the Fourth Judicial District in Fairbanks, Alaska, from 2012 to 2019. She was appointed on September 24, 2012, to replace retired Judge Robert Downes.

Bethany Spalding Harbison earned her B.A. from Williams College in 1989 and her J.D. Havard Law School in 1993.[2]
