Betsy Sandoval was a member of the Clovis Unified Board of Education in California, representing Trustee Area 6. Sandoval assumed office in 1996. Sandoval left office on December 9, 2022.

Sandoval won re-election to the Clovis Unified Board of Education to represent Trustee Area 6 in California outright after the general election on November 6, 2018, was canceled.

A graduate of the Clovis Unified School District and current resident of Clovis, Sandoval works as an insurance agent. Her three children graduated from the district as well. In addition to serving on the board, Sandoval is a member of the Clovis Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Clovis Community Hospital Guild and the Clovis Drug Abuse Council.[1]

Three seats on the Clovis Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Sandra A. Bengel, Jim Van Volkinburg and Betsy Sandoval from Trustee Areas 1, 3 and 6, respectively, ran unopposed and won re-election by default.

These three incumbents also ran unopposed in 2010.
