Bettina Rodriguez-Aguilera (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Florida's 27th Congressional District. She lost in the Republican primary on August 28, 2018.
In October 2017, Rodriguez-Aguilera received media attention due to claims she made in a 2009 television interview about being abducted by extraterrestrials.[1]
